The future of interactive ads? (Week #10)

  When you take a look at most Motor Vehicle ads they tend to be interactive. The main way you see an interactive element with these ads is by "polls" where you can vote on a question the ad has asked you. Recently I was scrolling through twitter and saw the add in the photos above by the brand Lexus. My eyes lit up when I saw this ad! This is such a unique advertisement because you are able to click on the different colors and styles of the vehicles as well as spin them around to take a better look! All of this is right in the ad! No link clicking that takes you outside of twitter at all! They did include the "shop now" button as a way to get you to visit their website. This is such as incredible ad! I will be showing this to the company I work for! I hope to see more of these in the future!

Chances are after you logged in you were asked to verify it was you and put in a security code or click a link to verify. Now think about every social media app you use this on and why do you do this? Security and protecting yourself in these digital times is important and very common- now think- do you have security on your messages? Your answer is that you most likely use the standard messaging app on your phone- so why change? I recently had the chance to try out the app SIGNAL. Signal is an app that has an easy to follow layout just like the messaging apps you are used to however- signal takes your security one step above the rest.
